Welcome to Herd of the Hospice?

Herd of the Hospice? is a major, free, public art installation and the first of its kind in the area. From July-September 2017, a herd of uniquely decorated horse sculptures will be exhibited across West Kent and East Sussex.

Designed and painted by local artists and generously sponsored by local businesses; our ‘herd’ will be displayed in parks and other public spaces to generate a positive atmosphere and encourage public interaction, draw people to local areas and create a fun experience for the community we serve.

What our supporters say…

“We are delighted to be supporting Hospice in the Weald’s Herd of the Hospice? Campaign. This campaign offers Fidelity an excellent opportunity to give back to our local community and benefit from the associated media coverage. We are pleased to be partnering with a truly worthwhile and important local charity that touches the lives of so many people. We would urge other local businesses to saddle up and join the herd too”.

Nick Grundy, Business Analyst and CSR Relationship Manager at Fidelity International.

"We're very excited to be taking part in the Herd of the Hospice? campaign and can't wait to see what our pupils' design for the Hilden Grange Pony!"

Hilden Grange School

"Charter Tax recently became a Business Partner of Hospice in the Weald as we were keen for our business to get involved with a local charity and we immediately took up the opportunity to sponsor a horse, appropriately named “Charter”. Janet Paterson and Mark Howard are the Principals of Charter Tax; Janet herseld has a love of horses and enjoys competing while not working and Mark heads up the Private Client team so it was an obvious project for us to get involved in."

Karen Cahalin, Charter Tax
